Book Details

Outskirts Press, Inc. has published Becoming Free From the Judas in Me by Jim Gloyd. The author's most recent book to date is a 5.5 x 8.5 paperback in the religion, Christian life and inspirational category and is available worldwide, in paperback, on book retailer websites such as Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

So many struggle with guilt, shame and regret, mostly because they messed up, made a bad decision, fell for the temptation and ended up in sin.  They feel as if they should have been able to walk through this fallen people planet and have been invincible, conquering every demon, and temptation.  They should have been stronger then those around them and their great parents Adam and Eve...but, that's just not reality, everyone is fallen, imperfect and will eventually falter and sin.

It's OK to feel guilt, guilt is an awareness that you have done something against your morals and beliefs. Shame however, condemns and says you are worthless. You need not be ashamed, there is no condemnation, but there is forgiveness.  So it is time for you to be at peace with yourself and your past...It is time to be free from your Judas that is condemning you!

This book is dedicated to the great number of fallen Christians who are caught within the grip of Satan’s vacuum—thus branding them a backslider. Whether astray or repented, whether fulfilling the blinded lusts of an again fallen flesh or combating mass weapons of condemnation, with two roads before them—one leading to the cross and the other to the noose—they are not forgotten!

When Gloyd was backslidden and dying from a Meth overdose there was no help as his very life and mind tried to evade him. It is hard for the almost dead to hook themselves up to their own life support system—but he had to do just that. In need of a Word, a revelation of healing, restoration and resuscitation he diligently searched the Scriptures. Jim Gloyd lived, finding what he was looking for—BECOMING FREE FROM THE JUDAS IN ME—was the result.

The brief synopsis from the back cover reads: “The seed of the Word of God still falls by the wayside, atop the stones and among the thorns. The devil is still a self-made heir of stolen truth, hopes and dreams, the light and life of mankind, and the fallen souls never to be acquainted with repentance, bound to broaden—the bowels of hell.”
• “While dwelling in a fallen state encumbered by Adam, do you feel condemned from a certain sin? After all, you weren’t supposed to mess up!”
• “While trying to forget a backslidden condition that is now under the shed blood of Christ, have you fought devils you never knew hell unleashed?”
• “Have these fallen angels—now spirits of darkness—dare to cause you to think your sins have been too evil, too many, too frequent, or too continuous that Calvary refuses to come to your aid? You’re not alone and there is help—you too can be free from what used to be ‘The Judas in me.’”
